Jakiś czas temu opisałem rozwiązania pozwalające na sprawdzanie przekierowań serwerowych. Chociaż są to bardzo dobre rozwiązania nie zawsze są one wygodne dla szybkiego sprawdzenia. Na szczęście ktoś stworzył, a ja znalazłem, fajne rozszerzenie do Google Chrome, o którym napiszę kilka zdań.

Jest ono dostępne w sklepie rozszerzeń Chrome i dodaje się jako ikonka blisko pola adresu.

Jeśli w trakcie wyświetlania strony wykryte zostają przekierowania to są one pokazywane na liście widocznej po kliknięciu w ikonę rozszerzenia.

Test sprawdzanie przekierowań

W ramach testu wpisałem adres subdomeny z dodaną kolejną subdomeną www. W efekcie działania dostałem informacje o tym, że doszło do przekierowania 301 na właściwy adres:

W drugim przypadku na innym blogu korzystając w wtyczki do ustawienia Redirection w WordPress przekierowałem przez 301 wpis z mojego innego bloga na stronę główną tego bloga. Specjalnie podałem adres z dodatkowym www, które poprzednim przykładzie powodowało przekierowanie 301. Również w tym wypadku wtyczka bez problemu wykryła wykonywane przekierowania:

Podsumowanie

Rozszerzenie realizuje to do czego zostało stworzone, czyli wychwytuje przekierowania. Czy zastępuje w pełni inne narzędzia? Pewnie nie, ale jest na tyle dobre, że w większości przypadków będzie wystarczające.
